Development Project Manager

$43,000 to $58,000 (Salary, Bonuses, Stock Options Available)

Responsible for establishing and maintaining the communications with clients to meet their expectations. To produce web projects that keeps our clients happy, on budget and on time. Leading a production team you are responsible to coordinate the entire production process from strategy implementation through to technical delivery of our final product. Liaising with our creative team. Manage our production and technical team.

We are searching for candidates that may have a project management certificate or background with ISP web hosting, web design & development experience. Or perhaps you have grown & developed in our industry and are now looking to take on more responsibilities and challenges through quality control, project design/ creation, & technical management. Preference will be given to candidates with strong programming, communication & administrative skills. Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a strong accountable Production Team.
  • Manage all communication flow to/from clients through production system.
  • Coordinate and conduct client review appointments and up sell our products and services.
  • Staff coordination, outsource and resource selection for all projects.
  • Assure we receive signed customer edit and production forms on every step of the process for every job.
  • Senior database migration & management.
  • Integrating sophisticated domain hosting & e-commerce construction & installation of web interfaces.
  • Creation & automation of statistics & metrics reporting tools.
  • Create client data management, migration & maintenance.
  • Provide back-up maintenance of local computer network.
  • Conceptualization & ability in story boarding of technical and creative project management.
  • Open SRS Installation interface to our web site.
  • Renewal optimization & data base integration to our company database.
  • Custom programming for dozens of web site contracts.
  • Manage corporate web site.
  • Provide Web Network Host Management support when required.
  • Create, update & follow Quality Control system.
  • Provide a detailed weekly report to the President.
  • Follow the production model and assure signatures are received on every step of the QC process.
  • Refine and improve our production system in developing quality products for our clients.
  • Web site development and design, strategy session participation and coordination, minute taking for production meetings.
  • Explain the benefits of all the services we offer so clients get maximum value.
  • Provide back up to the production team on web site updates and technical programming.
  • Update act files between main system and admin.
  • Check email, forward to appropriate parties and reply timely with priority to editing requests or technical support requests. Please cc sales when completing any of these tasks.
  • Fax, email client edits for production.
  • Set up and maintain manual and digital filing systems for clients in the production database.
  • Maintain maintenance files and tracking of time for all clients to ensure profitability to the company on any extra billing.
  • Coordinate our network hardware and software support issues with Network Administrator through our suppliers and install related software and issues as they arise in house.

  • Strong ability to multitask many projects at one time.
  • Strong programming experience in Php, HTML, CGI, Java Script & Java, My-Sql, ASP and if you have Cold Fusion it would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of Red Hat, Plesk, Linux & and other Unix platforms would also be an asset.
  • 3-5 years experience in the Internet or related business.
  • Core understanding of web networks, dns and email services.
  • Strong written & oral communication skills.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with Strong Internet marketing skills
  • Business acumen.
  • Able to understand client business and revenue streams to help develop the web page strategy.
  • Be courteous, prompt, and timely and have good attention to detail.
  • Excellent MS Office skills.
  • Able to work independently on projects and also collaborate as a strong team member.
  • Communicate effectively both internally and externally; i.e. check email, forward to appropriate parties and reply timely with priority to editing requests or technical support requests.
  • Provide impeccable customer service; be courteous, prompt, and timely.
  • Excellent attention to detail, flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Demonstrate innovation and creativity by continually improving internal processes.
