Career opportunity for experienced SEO specialist with extremely successful Internet Marketing company, with a growing number of websites, in the fast-paced internet industry, based in Vancouver, Yaletown

Responsibilities:

• Search Engine Optimization program implementation
• Define and measure SEO metrics and key performance indicators
• Competitive analysis of competitor and other industry web sites aimed at identifying improvement opportunities and issues.
• Optimize existing site components including copy, architecture, filenames, etc.
• Work with Marketing team to improve site architecture and page content.
• Constant research and participation in the SEM community to remain on the cutting edge.
• Develop reporting to show the effectiveness of SEM and SEO programs.
• Implement automated posting processes to increase efficiency
• Implement and manage affiliate program

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years experience in SEM and SEO.
• Solid understanding of search engines, their algorithms and their spiders.
• Experience with Pay Per Click advertising programs
• Understanding of organic SEO techniques and best practices.
• Optimization experience in competitive online categories.
• Ability to track, measure, and modify techniques based on web analytics data.
• SEO copywriting skills.
• Strong html editing skills using Dreamweaver.
• Organize and refine keyword lists.
• Link Management and Link Building experience.
• Excellent analytical, organization and communication skills.
• Deadline driven, passionate, determined to succeed and stay on top of a rapidly changing industry.
• Demonstrated time management skills.
• Strong ability to multi-task.
